We all know that Google’s I/O conference is coming closer to us and most of us are expecting that Search Engine giant company will reveal its own new Android tablet that might be called the Google Nexus tablet. Now, we also know that once a device is branded with a Google logo, it is anticipated by a whole lot of users and that is the reason why there are so many rumors related to this upcoming product.

Well, this new rumor comes from Picasa which is Google’s own image hosting and sharing service. It seems like these images are taken from the Google Nexus tablet device itself and then posted on the website. No one but the EXIF data of the images is claiming that these images are taken from a device named Asus Nexus 7. All these images come with a resolution of 1280 x 960 pixels, but the images have been scaled down before being uploaded. You don’t have to get very excited about it because these are not that special images. As you can see, the images show a boring ceiling of an office room.

After seeing this image, we have gathered some more evidence that this new tablet that is going to be unveiled soon is the Google Nexus tablet that is developed by Asus and it will have a 7 inch display screen. You have to keep in mind that the EXIF data of an image can be altered easily, so it cannot count as a hard evidence. And we will get the real confirmation when Google will officially announce this device at the I/O conference later this month. So, in the mean time we only have these images for you, you can take a deep look at them at the Picasa page where these images are posted.

We will definitely keep you updated with all the new updates we find on the Google Nexus tablet. Stay tuned for more.

As you know that Computex show is currently on going in Taipei and different manufacturers from all around the world are there to showcase their new products. An analyst named as Brian White who works at a firm named Topeka Capital Markets is doing a research at the event. Brian White met with some of the component suppliers at the event and from them he received some information about the next big launch from Apple. It seems like Apple has chosen the month of September this time to launch the next iPhone as well as the iPad mini.

We already know that there are many rumors going on for a while about a smaller version of iPad being released along with the next iPhone in the fall this year. But now, various industrial sources have confirmed that both of these new Apple devices will be released in September. Apple’s new iPad mini is rumored to come with a 7.85 inch display with 1024 x 768 pixels resolution. On the other hand, the same sources have also mentioned that Foxconn is making an unibody aluminum shell for the iPhone 5 while there is also a chance that Apple will be using Liquidmetal for the body.

Now, we are not completely sure of the news, as we already know that iPhone 4S was launched in October last year, but that is not the issue. According to Apple’s usual annual product cycle, there is no place for another iPad, but still when iPad Mini will be released, it will start a new cycle. In addition to that, this year is pretty special and competition is getting very tough for Apple, because this time Microsoft is stepping into the market with Windows 8 tablets around that same time.

A little while ago, a rumor which was spreading around like a fire was that Acer was planning to quit the smartphone and tablet manufacturing business. Well, now we can say that all those rumors and speculations were false, as company itself denied them. Now, we have received a solid proof of that as well, in the form of a high end tablet which will be truly loved by gadget enthusiasts around the world.

The device we are talking about right now is called Acer Iconia Tab A700, and you might have already heard too much about this model at this time in the form of rumors and speculations. If we go according to the rumored specs in this device, it will definitely be quite amazing device. The key feature of this device is rumored to be its 10.1 inch display which will be having a jaw dropping resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels, amazing isn’t it? While other features include a powerful quad core Tegra 3 processor chip made by NVIDIA under the hood. Obviously, all these amazing features together is what everyone wants out of a modern tablet. Other features in this device might include a 5 MP camera having LED flash and another front facing camera capable of capturing HD videos as well. Connectivity features are going to include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, HDMI port, 3G connectivity and a microSD card slot as well.

On the contrary, there is a one and the only bad thing about this tablet is its weight which is not satisfactory as the Acer iconia Tab A700 weighs 1.43 pounds which make 650 grams. But still, we can pay that price because the tablet will be having a powerful beefy battery having power of 9800 mAh and it will be able to run the tablet for 10 hours of video playback. We have no confirmation about the Android version in this tablet but my money is on Ice Cream Sandwich right now.

As of now, all the above details of specs is just based on mere speculations, so be prepared if anything turns out different. Meanwhile, CES 2012 is looking very good for the official announcement of Iconia Tab A700 from Acer.

As you might remember that, yesterday we discussed rumors regarding the possibility of a smaller, 7 inch iPad which might follow the iPad 3 release in 2012. Well, its about time when we get back to the major device, the iPad 3 of course. Today, a leaked internal component has surfaced the internet, and it shows a major redesign in the device. The component we are talking about is the Microphone Mic Flex Cable Ribbon. A Chinese iPhone parts reseller named as TVC-Mall has uploaded the image on their official website. Take a look:

When some of the analyst tried to compare the new component with that of iPad 2, they found out that it is designed to fit in a different arrangement in comparison to the previous device’s hardware. It means that in the iPad 3, Apple has changed the circuitry and that leads to a major redesign of the iPad. Well, if you think about it, it does not reveal much for the iPad 3.

Still, you should keep in mind that it is just a rumor and we are not 100% sure that this part belongs the upcoming iPad 3. As we all know that the component manufacturers usually produce various versions of the components to be tested on the products and later Apple finalizes the perfect one. So, the trail ends at Apple’s decision obviously, but the major speculations are that the iPad 3 will feature 4G LTE connectivity and a Retina Display having 2048 x 1536 pixel resolution.
