Well, developers were allowed to touch and look this amazing piece of craft developed by Apple. It was a giant tablet made like an art installation and in this 120 iPads were connected to each other. All these iPad units were hooked to a Mac Pro. The reason behind this was that Apple wanted to illustrate how well app store was doing. Apple announced that currently, iTunes have over 650,000 apps and the number is still growing.

So, this table made of 120 iPads and Apple used it to display the top 20,000 apps of the App Store. It also showed the rate of growth of sales of these apps in real time. It means that every time someone somewhere around the world downloaded an app, a brief flash appeared on one of the screens to notify about that. When I mentioned real time above, it meant that all the processing was shown happening in real time and the results were flashed with the delay of 5 minutes.

Apple somehow connected the Mac Pro with 120 high res iPad units, which made an amazing device. I mean think about it, there were 377 million pixels altogether on a single table, what else would you want.

Previously, OTG started a test program where they used the original iPad units. Now, the company has already replaced almost 400 older models with the latest version of Apple iPad at their restaurants located in LaGuardia Airport New York. At the same airport, the company will be replacing another 2000 first  generation Apple iPads. In addition to that, the company will also be providing 2500 tablets to St. Paul International Airport in Minneapolis while Toronto Pearson International Airport will be getting 2500 new iPads as well. CEO Rick Blatstien stated that all these 7000 new iPad units will be deployed in a year. He also said that the company is also trying to offer Apple iPad for every seat in every OTG restaurant while they also plan to include an AC outlet and a USB port as well. It will really help a lot of people into saving so much time and enjoy themselves at the same time.

OTG will modify the tablets by including custom software. One of those software will be an app that will run in background and notify the customers about their flights. Each iPad will also be loaded with per use security system that will erase all the info of the previous user by pressing home button. It means that users will be able to access sensitive or private material like their bank accounts or social networking sites. OTG is also offering jobs to the independent developers, who will help the company into writing new apps for the use.

We have been hearing countless speculations and rumors about the next generation iPad over the last few months and now its time when all these rumors will be put to rest. Additionally, readers also have the option to write down their email address, so they will be receiving immediate updates regarding this new product from Verizon. The webpage does not provide anything else about the product.

As we all know that Verizon entered the iPhone game very late, when iPhone 4 was released. And at this time Verizon does not offer any of the two iPads. So, if we keep in mind the 4G LTE iPad rumor, this teaser of Verizon site might point to the fact that Verizon is entering the iPad market right now.

This time, the guys at 9to5Mac have cited a source who is an insider from Apple Retail Stores, so, the source claims that the new iPad will be officially launched for public on Friday, March 16^th, only nine days after the announcement event being held in San Francisco tomorrow. Well, it is not an earth shattering news for anyone because, if we keep track of Apple’s previous launches then we find out that Apple usually releases its products on Fridays for public. Additionally, another interesting fact is that on March 16^th, Apple is opening two high profile Retail Stores in Houston, Texas as well as a new store in the plush Harrod’s store in London.

The source has further reported that Apple Retail Outlets are also preparing for a big store based event which will end on the alleged launch date mentioned above. The same report also adds that during March last year, Apple opened up a temporary store in Austin, Texas which was used for stocking iPad 2 and related accessories. But this time, Apple might not continue this trend, although SXSW is also scheduled to be held during 9-13 of this month.

So, tomorrow is the day when Apple is going to announce the next iPad at Yerba Buena Center of Arts in San Francisco and nine days later we should expect the public release of this new iPad. So, at this time, what is the most interesting feature to arrive in this new device that you are most excited about? We are not talking about just a handful of cases here, on the other hand the report suggests that “over 1000 Targus Versavu 360 stands for next generation iPad are shipping to Best Buy, meaning that it wont be long until the actual tablet hits the shelves”.

The report further states that these cases are being shipped in a sealed box having a large pink sticker saying that “do not display until official iPad 3 launch”. So, if we believe this report then it does not look like that the standard secrecy was conducted while delivering the cases. In the last few weeks have been seeing a lot of potential leaks of components and cases for the next generation iPad. Most of the speculations have stated that the next generation iPad will have similar size as the iPad 2. So, it will mean that the third party suppliers would not have to go through so much trouble in producing the cases.

On the other hand, we are not surprised to see that Best Buy is stocking this large number of Targus Versavu cases for the next iPad. Previously we have seen similar situations when the third party case manufacturers leak out the specs and appearance details of the device in order to get their cases into the market first.

If Targus Versavu case design is only based on rumors then it would not be a wise move from the manufacturer to build so many cases for a product. So, we are thinking that they have known about the real dimensions of the next iPad and that’s why they have even started shipping the cases to the large retail stores like Best Buy. Here to get more proof, we have also found a leaked image of Best Buy’s inventory showing iPad 3 inventories. As you can see the shipment dates are marked at March 11^th, so these new accessories are coming 4 days after the iPad 3 launch. In my opinion we might see something new then.
