Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 Is Now Available For Pre Orders

You might remember only two weeks ago Best Buy launched the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 and this 7 inch tablet came with an affordable price tag of $249.99. Well, it seems like Samsung has now decided to release the big brother of the 7 inch model, named as Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, as this new 10 inch tablet is now available for pre order.

The popular electronics retailer, Office Depot has started to take pre orders for the new 10 inch tablet from Samsung. Previously we have heard many rumors and speculations about this tablet, but the final product comes with a dual core processor under the hood along with 1GB or RAM. The 10.1 inch display comes with a screen resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. Just like its smaller brother, Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 will also come with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich running out of the box. Previously Samsung announced that the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 will be releasing on 13^th May 2012 but now Office Depot is claiming that the device will be shipped on May 11, 2012 which is two days earlier from the official release date. Now, there is a chance that this release date might only be for the pre orders and it might be available for in store pickup on 13^th May after all.

As the device releases, we will make sure to get our hands on it and bring a complete and detailed review of the tablet for you. This is the same tablet that was displayed by Samsung back in February at MWC 2012 event in Barcelona.
