HTC Flyer Is Now Available At $199.99

Well, it was bound to happen now or some time later. Due to the increasing popularity of Amazon Kindle Fire, all the other tablet makers had to start decreasing prices of their slates.  Well, we can say that this trend was started with HP TouchPad which was available for $100 somewhere in last year. That’s not it, you will also find BlackBerry PlayBook at many retailers at the price of $200. When we reviewed the HTC Flyer we also mentioned that it was too pricey at the time of its release.

Now we are definitely satisfied by the price of the HTC Flyer Honeycomb slate, as the manufacturer has slashed its price to $199.99. You can get this slate on Buy.com right now in the refurbished model. In the $200 price tag you will get HTC Flyer having 16 GB internal memory, Qualcomm Snapdragon single core 1.5 GHz processor and Android 2.3 which will be upgradeable to Honeycomb and last but not the least a 5 MP camera. Additionally, the device weighs only 14.82 oz with battery and provides a 1GB RAM, alongside a microSD card slot, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity. You will also get 90 days of warranty for the device. Unfortunately, the stylus does not come with the package you will have to get one separately, but those are also available in low prices nowadays.

You can also wait for the next HTC slate named as HTC Vertex which is going to be a quad core slate, but it will have double price of the Flyer.
