Acer Iconia Tab A510 With Tegra 3 Announced Today

As we reported a few weeks earlier that there was a tablet named Acer Iconia Tab A510 which was being developed by Acer and its release date was unknown. Well, here comes CES and Acer has announced this slate, and it has been placed on Acer’s counter to show off and after looking at it we found out that it looks like a lesser specced version of the popular Iconia Tab A700.

Iconia A510

Obviously, the Iconia Tab A510 comes with the latest NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad core chip and the processor is clocked at 1.3 GHz. Additionally, the tablet runs on Android Ice Cream Sandwich which is also  a plus. The screen size is also identical to that of the Iconia Tab A700 which is 10.1 inches. While the A700 comes with an amazing resolution of 1920 x 1200, Acer has provided A510 with lesser resolution o 1280 x 800 pixels, which is still pretty good resolution. But still if the price of the tablet is affordable, it will be a very decent Android tablet for the mid ranged customers.

Moreover, the Iconia Tab A510 has a 5 MP rear camera which has a nice result while a 2 MP front facing camera is also added for video conferencing and self portraying purposes usually. Another great thing about this slate is that it is very slim and light. Most important thing is the price as well as the release date of the tablet, which are not confirmed yet by Acer. So, we are hoping to get all the info very soon and we will surely keep you updated.
