The war of patents among Apple and Samsung got much more severe after a ruling by a regional court in Dusseldorf, which is a city of Germany, granted Apple a preliminary injunction by blocking the sales and even advertising of Galaxy Tab 10.1 all over Europe except for Netherlands. Samsung could appeal against the ruling but during the particular interval the decision would have stood. This decision was made by the court in August.
Samsung Has Got a Few Tricks Down its Sleeve!
Now as far as the latest news is concerned, according to a German site, it has been heard that Samsung has launched the Galaxy Tab 10.1 again in the Germany after redesigning it a bit and by giving it a name of Galaxy Tab 10.1N and the decision of the court will not be apply on this tab.
As you can see in the above image that the tablet on the top is the new one, Galaxy Tab 10.1N and the bottom tablet is the older version of the device. The major difference that can be observed in both of these devices is the metal frame present around the corners of this new Galaxy Tab 10.1N device.
It is also very surprising that how Samsung came up with such design but it was made by consultation among the designers, lawyers and the owners. It has been designed in such a way that it can now be legally sold in Germany and all across Europe.
